I finally changed my bedroom doors

Best decision of my renovation

I bought laminate bedroom doors with lever locks from Renovaid Team

5 out of 5 stars

Already recommended to my neighbours

---

My flat is an older resale

The previous owner's doors were terrible

The door knobs were old round twist type

My children struggled to open them

Mornings were so frustrating

The doors felt like cardboard

I could hear the TV from the living room

The laminate was peeling

I wanted to hide the doors when people visited

So I decided enough was enough

I wanted good quality bedroom doors

That is when I found Renovaid Team

---

I do my research before hiring anyone

I looked at many suppliers

I looked at several door suppliers

Some were atas pricing

Some had hidden costs

Some never replied to my WhatsApp

Then I found Renovaid Team

I made sure they were BCA certified

They are properly licensed

That matters for HDB renovation

I looked at what other customers said

Real people with positive experiences

They manufacture their own doors in Woodlands

No middleman means better prices and quality

Their response time was very fast

Polite and efficient

Over 10 years of experience

Long history means they are trustworthy

Their showroom is in Woodlands at Harvest building

Strictly by appointment so plan ahead

---

I went with solid core laminate bedroom doors

Here is why laminate is a smart choice

Laminate can take scratches and wear

My family is not careful with doors

Laminate holds up well to daily use

Laminate is good for humid weather

Humidity is high in Singapore

Laminate will not warp or expand

Laminate is easy to take care of

No special cleaning products required

Less hassle for busy parents

I picked lever locks over twist knobs

Lever handles are easier for kids and elderly

My 5 year old can do it herself

No more yelling for help

The lever mechanism feels smooth and premium

3 weeks was tough but they were honest about it

The showroom is appointment only so you cannot just show up but that is a small thing

That is honestly it

Very satisfied customer

---

I liked their work so much I bought other doors from them

A slide and swing door for my toilet

No more door hitting the bowl

An aluminium bifold door for my common bathroom

A wrought iron gate for my main entrance

They installed all of it

No drop in standards

Save the hassle of website dealing with multiple companies

---

Tips from my experience

Get your measurements ready before you message them

This speeds up the whole process

The person who chooses designs must be there

You have to see the samples yourself

Expect to wait 3 to 4 weeks

Quality manufacturing is not instant

Factor the wait into your timeline

PayNow is super convenient

Super convenient and no cheque nonsense

Test every door before the installers leave

Do your testing while they are still there

Always message first before visiting

Their Woodlands place is appointment only

You will be turned away if you walk in without booking
